Haven of Hope
Haven of Hope

The Haven of Hope catalogue sells a beautiful range of hand-sewn goods for the home, designed by a local textile artist. A group of around 120 disadvantaged women in India make the range of homeware, kitchenware and gifts to sell at a profit. The high-quality photography sets the tone and I chose bright colours and pale Indian motifs to give it a slight Asian flavour while still appealing to Western buyers.

Clandeboye
Clandeboye

Peel-off lids on yoghurt pots designed for the prestigious Clandeboye Estate near Bangor. They had recently purchased a herd of pedigree Jersey cows to make their own organic, local produce, and a few of these cows made an appearance in the design.

Loft Solutions
Loft Solutions

Produced for a client in England, this A5 folder looks clean and neat, the way you want a builder to leave your home! The stock image shows the plans and 3D graphic of a loft conversion. These folders are ideal as the inners can be changed and updated as often as you like and so won't become redundant. A5 is also a good size for posting and they can be used as promotional mail shots.

Main Street

These fun postcards were designed for Main Street Marketing, as a little self-promotional tool to attract new business. The robot demonstrates all the different services which they offer, in a much more inventive way than normal, using a simple digital illustration.

Cambodia Trust
Cambodia Trust

A striking Annual Report was designed for The Cambodia Trust featuring a boy with a prosthesis on the cover. As he gazes into his future, he has been empowered by having a new limb, and with such a bold photo, minimal graphics were applied over the top so as not to detract from it. I have produced their Annual Reports for three years now, and you can see the evolution in the designs.

Grahams Bakery
Grahams Bakery

Grahams Home Bakery wanted a new corporate identity and so I created this logo with a rustic, organic feel to it. The dappled edges to the windows look more natural than straight lines and the sun-kissed corn reminds customers of the healthy ingredients. I chose brown for the font as it's a good earthy colour and ties in with the theme.

Fields of Life

Different brochures and leaflets were produced for Fields of Life, a charity which works in Uganda. They wanted their image brought up-to-date, and to be fun and inviting with an affirmative outlook, with a African twist.

Welcome House
Welcome House

The Welcome House was set-up to welcome people of different nationalities into Northern Ireland. They needed a brand identity that spoke to individuals of myriad cultures, and so I devised a 'concertina' of cut-out paper people made up of flags from around the world. The result is welcoming, colourful and approachable.

Thick, matt laminated invites to a high level side event at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Logo was designed for the Assistive Technology theme to look positive, inspiring, victorious and gender/race neutral. Folding leaflets and a website (see link below) were also produced following the same theme.

This is a double-page spread of the inside of an A4 brochure for Exceed Worldwide, who operate in Southeast Asia. It's an overview of their year, and using this timeline graphic I was able to display many photos in a creative way. See link below for website built to match their corporate image.

Youth for Christ

Using Youth For Christ's corporate fonts and colours, I produced quarterly newsletters in the same style and template. They were to be bright, informative and hopeful, in keeping with the YFC brand which has an international reach and appeal.

Wes Grierson
Wes Grierson

Wes, a talented local musician with a growing reputation, was looking for a CD case that would stand out. This design folds into itself several times, with an inner sleeve to hold the CD and is secured with a velcro dot. All the extra space means more room for lyrics and graphics, and the card chosen has a sensory rough texture to it.

Royal Air Force

An event to honour the brave men and women who defended our own N. Irish coastlines during wartime. The brochures produced were a keepsake for the guests and were designed with a certain amount of gravitas on a traditional theme.
